'Magic' 11x17 poster by Ray Kim
Two color 11×17 poster on Mohawk straw paper.
“I don’t think many people see magic when they interact with tattooing. Magic can mean anything, really. Maybe it denotes a spirit, or Body, in whatever vessel you choose to imbue it with? But there are many reasons for tattoos to exist. In the Western world, tattooing has become an alternate accessory. An intentional masochism for a new sense of self. A way to take ownership in a world that is rife with conflict & out of our control.”
