Studio visits are a great way to view our collection, print an analogue activity, and purchase books and posters from our store. Site visits are great for large to small groups new to riso who are looking to get a sip of what Risolana has to offer.

Consultations are a great way to start your dream project off right.

You will work one-on-one, in person, with a designer who has a tight relationship with the riso machine and design software. We encourage people with more complex projects to sign up for a consultation. Consultations are taken on a case-by-case basis and are not a demo or a studio visit to test out the machine in general. We have this offering as affordable as we can so people with larger projects can make a small investment up front to help save them time and money in the long run.

Designed as our entry level opportunity for community members to test out risograph printing, our 30 under 30 gathering offers participants hands-on support by community designers who know how to translate all types of artwork and designs into a lovely two color risograph print. This workshop was designed from lessons learned during our popular 30 under 30 community workshop. This workshop is for classes that already have artwork they would like to see ‘translated’ into riso. For this workshop, we double up two artworks onto one sheet of 11x17 paper and remotely assist a lead educator in learning how to prep student files for printing. We can assist with layout if needed! Groups will receive a hands-on experience of printing and walk away with 10 copies of their artwork.

Tailored workshops are great for groups that want to dive into riso! These workshop can be simple or complex and are tailored to your needs. They can result in a final product for each participant or artwork that is part of a larger group project. Please email us about your vision and we can dream something up with you. These workshops are usually analogue (we don’t have enough computers to host digital workshops just yet…maybe one day).
